MUNICIPAL SCHOOL TO BE CREATED IN AZERBAIJAN BAKU/02.05.08/TURAN: The Democratic Development & Economic Cooperation (DDEC) NGO is preparing a project to create a municipal school in Azerbaijan in cooperation with the Turkish Development and Cooperation Agency (TIKA) and OXFAM (a British humanitarian NGO). The school will train staff for municipal councils, the DDEC leader, Ilham Huseynli told Turan. The DDEC is also cooperating with MITAGED from Turkey for this. Huseynli took part in a MITAGED conference in Antalia, Turkey this week. The conference considered municipal governance and the financial and economic problems of municipal councils. The DDEC head reported about the Azerbaijani municipal councils and their problems during the conference.
